PGV supports Integrated Logistics and Life Cycle Support programs for various NAVSEA activities.
Specific functions include:
1) Preparation of draft program logistics documents, including the Supportability Plan and the Navy Training System Plan
2) Providing logistics inputs to other program documents such as the Operational Requirements Document (ORD), the Performance Specification (PSPEC), the Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Navigation (C4N) Support Plan, and the Acquisition Plan
3) Providing logistics inputs to the Request for Proposal (RFP), including draft Statement-of-Work language, Data Requirements List (DRL) items and contract clauses
4) Research and investigation of acquisition and life cycle logistics issues and liaison with applicable Navy/DoD activities
5) Liaison with fleet personnel at the ACU's including briefings to the semi-annual Fleet Support Conferences
6) Research and recommendations on logistics policy issues
7) General program support, including status tracking, support of meetings and conferences and preparation of meeting reports
